  • Alberta New Home Warranty Program – The Alberta New Home Warranty Program (the Program) was founded in 1974 to provide a comprehensive package of warranty protections and increase the professionalism of the home building industry.
  • – The website is designed to help connect apprentices and employers across Ontario and is a free service operated by not-for-profit organizations and community agency partners in Ontario.
  • Building Code Website – Here you can find information on qualification and registration, available training, dispute resolution, news on recent code developments and more. The Ontario Building Code is administered by the Building and Development Branch of the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing.
  • Canadian General Standards Board (CGSB) – Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) plays an important role in the daily operations of the Government of Canada as a key provider of services for federal departments and agencies. It supports them in the achievement of their mandated objectives as their central purchasing agent, linguistic authority, real property manager, treasurer, accountant, integrity adviser, and pay and pension administrator.
  • Canadian Housing and Renewal Association (CHRA) – THE CANADIAN HOUSING & RENEWAL ASSOCIATION is the national voice for the full range of affordable housing and homelessness issues and solutions.
  • CMHC – Canada Mortgage & Housing Corporation – The Canadian Housing Information Centre is the library of Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation. Located at the National Office of CMHC in Ottawa, it is the most extensive housing information source in the country, serving consumers, builders, developers, academics and industry decision-makers.
  • Foreign Affairs & Intl Trade – The mandate of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada is to manage Canada’s diplomatic and consular relations, to encourage the country’s international trade and to lead Canada international development and humanitarian assistance.
  • Home Owner Protection Office (British Columbia) – The Homeowner Protection Office (HPO) is a branch of BC Housing, a provincial Crown agency under the Ministry of Natural Gas Development. Minister Rich Coleman is the Deputy Premier and the Minister of Natural Gas Development and Minister Responsible for Housing.
  • NRC – Energuide for Houses – Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) seeks to enhance the responsible development and use of Canada natural resources and the competitiveness of Canada natural resources products. We are an established leader in science and technology in the fields of energy, forests, and minerals and metals and use our expertise in earth sciences to build and maintain an up-to-date knowledge base of our landmass.
  • NRC – Institute for Research in Construction – The National Research Council (NRC) is the Government of Canada’s premier organization for research and development.
  • Ontario Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing – The goal of the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing is an Ontario made up of safe and strong communities with abundant greenspace, thriving and prosperous economies, and a range of housing choices.
  • Statistics Canada – Statistics Canada, a member of the Industry Portfolio, produces statistics that help Canadians better understand their country its population, resources, economy, society and culture. In addition to conducting a Census every five years, there are about 350 active surveys on virtually all aspects of Canadian life.
  • Super E House Program – Super E is a new housing standard developed by Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) that builds on the highly successful R-2000 and Advanced Housing Programs. It utilizes state of the art construction techniques that promote energy conservation, environmentally responsible construction and healthy housing.
